BENGALURU – India’s Axis Bank reported a 3.7% rise in third-quarter profit on Tuesday, helped by higher loan growth.
The Mumbai-based private bank reported a standalone net profit of 60.71 billion rupees ($730.19 million) in the three months ended December 31, compared with 58.53 billion rupees a year ago.
The standalone numbers do not include the business of the bank’s branches.
