Dividend Shares: Shares of several companies such as Ashok Leyland, Varun Beverages, TVS Holdings, among others, will trade ex-dividend in the coming week with the start of the new financial year 2024-25 (FY25), starting Monday, April 1. Along with these, some other companies will also trade ex-dividend, ex-rights and ex-bonus, according to data on the BSE.
The ex-dividend date is the day on which the stock’s share price adjusts to reflect the next dividend payment. It is the day the stock becomes ex-dividend, meaning it does not carry the value of its next dividend payment from that day forward. Dividends are payable to all shareholders whose names appear on the company’s list before the end of the record date.

Ashok Leyland: The company declared an interim dividend of ₹4.95.
