To achieve this, he said, efforts must be extended beyond the superficial level to include primary and secondary education.
Murthy said almost every developed nation takes advantage of inventions and ongoing innovations to improve the lives of citizens and maintain low unemployment rates. He believes it is important for India to develop a pro-invention mindset to replicate these successes. He said that encouraging young persons to generate innovative ideas will lead to employment generation which in turn will propel India towards reducing unemployment.

According to the veteran, India should focus on training its retired teachers. Murthy believes that investment in training of retired teachers can play an important role in shaping the future generation. He said, “If we train our teachers with the help of highly skilled retired teachers for 20 years for 20 billion dollars, it will be a very important contribution of our governments to create the future generation.”
